Donalds’ Volvo showroom has been designed to showcase the Swedish brand’s latest Volvo Retail Experience (VRE) showroom concept. Situated within Ipswich’s premium Futura Retail Park, the new facility has been designed to reflect the company’s Scandinavian design philosophy.
The showroom operates a 60/40 split between The Street, a space dedicated to the display of new cars and The Living Room, an unusually large area dedicated for welcoming customers and carrying out business transactions, which highlights the emphasis the brand places on providing a high-quality retail experience to customers.
Having first worked with Volvo Cars UK in 1996, we’ve built up an understanding of the brand and its values. As Architects, we put this to good effect, working closely with both brand and retailer to create a shared vision for this state-of-the-art facility.
The showroom sits adjacent to a new Mazda showroom, for which we also acted as Architect.
