IME Library Refurbishment

Bisset Adams are pleased to see our library refurbishment complete at The Institution of Mechanical Engineers. A delicate touch was required to modernise the function of the spaces whilst respecting and revealing the original splendour. Customer visits have increased massively since the opening!

Selsdon Library

Delighted to see our designs for the refurbishment of Selsdon Library in Croydon completed and open to the public. The library includes bespoke furniture that offers bookshop style displays combined with seating. The library is also trialling Open Plus technology which will enable extended opening hours for its customers.

SKODA Crawley

This month saw the launch of the relocated SKODA showroom in Crawley. As with all SKODA sites, Bisset Adams were involved in the design, factory and retailer approvals. The retailer is delighted with their new showroom and is now moving forward with another SKODA site.

Blackpool Conference Centre

Our exciting project to build a new Conference Centre in Blackpool is progressing well on site. The venue will feature state of the art amenities to host modern conferences and exhibitions, including the latest audio and visual technology.

Blackpool Planning Approval

Blackpool Conference and Exhibition Centre obtained listed building consent and full planning permission with a unanimous Planning Committee vote last night (February 22nd 2017). One of the committee members described it as “a great development”. Many thanks to everyone who has assisted with us achieving this fantastic result in such a short time period!

The Northern Powerhouse
As part of today’s announcement by Theresa May, Bisset Adams’s recently submitted plans for Blackpool’s revitalised Conference Centre are to form part of the government’s £556m Northern Powerhouse funding.

£20m Blackpool Conference Centre

Bisset Adams have just submitted a Planning Application to build a new conference and exhibition centre capable of hosting more than 7,000 delegates at a time. The plans show how the new centre would link up with the existing Winter Gardens complex and how its design will complement the heritage of the current buildings.
